Eric Raabe

Eric Raabe serves as the Project Manager for CONNECT's Climate Action Planning (CAP), Transit, and Materials Management Subcommittees, where he has coordinated the development of a “multi-municipal" and "CONNECT-wide” Climate Action Plan that seeks to reduce emissions and encourages long-term participation in sustainability among our 40+ member governments in Allegheny County. Raabe has worked with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection in various capacities as an intern, local government representative, and academic advisor in the state’s Local Government Climate Action Program – helping develop GHG inventories and Climate Action Plans for a handful of municipalities outside of Pittsburgh. 

In these roles, Eric has worked closely with state and municipal governments, local utilities, and regional nonprofit organizations to bring more sustainable improvement opportunities to Southwest PA. Eric holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Energy and Environment from the University of Pittsburgh’s (GSPIA) - Graduate School of Public and International Affairs.
